The
White Chief Lodge and Restaurant has been in operation for over 35 years.
Our facility, built in the 1950's, is designed around an era when people
spent more time outside than in. The White Chief is located 1 1/2 miles
from the southern gates to Yosemite National Park, 300 yards off of Highway
41 on White Chief Mountain Road. Nestled cozily in the pine forest, we
enjoy a peaceful, relaxed family-style atmosphere. Being almost entirely
family-operated, we do our best to make our guests feel like they are
part of our family. We have a great restaurant which is open from 7:30
am until 9:00 pm or later. Service animals, such as seeing-eye or rescue
dogs, are always welcome with us. To see pictures of what our facility
looks like, as well as our rates, please click on the Gallery link above.
For any "snow bunnies" out there, we are planning to
be open all winter. Make a reservation, or just stop by for a hot cup
of coffee or hot chocolate and a bowl of soup. Thank you for visiting
our website! Have a great day!
